Hello
I have been experimenting with various load testing softwares for my HTPC that I am building but I cannot seem to find anything newer than 4 years that I don't have to pay for. I am looking for a software tester that will basically push my card to its limits. I want to test its frame rate and see how hot it gets in the case. I also want a test program that will also test the processor and stress it as much as possible. Does anyone have anything that will do all of this? I am really looking for soothing that will turn my PC into and auxiliary heater for my room. tongue.gif

Don't know about video, but I've used these two CPU tests before and they worked well:

CPU Burn-In LINK
CPU Stability Test LINK

Both are free.

Found this for video:

Video Card Stability Test LINK

Also free. Hope it helps. Sorry if they don't.

That software worked ok but I could not get the graphics card on my laptop to go above 59'C and that was still in the green. I would like to find a graphics card software that is like a demo and will display whats happening instead of showing a spinning earth. The CPU tester did work ok though. I found the "Warming" mode on one of them rather ammusing. I now have a backup heater in case my furnace fails. Now, I still have yet to test this software on my main desktop which I really want to test. Thanks for what you did find though.

You might poke around in some overclocking forums/sites to see what they might have.

Try ATITool, should work for any brand graphics card.
It loads the gpu and tests for stability.
