Tower or powerbook?

The more expensive Elgato HD tuner box looks decent...
Hows your processor? I think you need at least 1.76ghz for HD...

I looked around for stuff for my g4 powerbook, but i didnt find anything practical for me.

The elgato with a fast g4 can do 720p but not 1080i.
seems like most HD feeds are 720p... but i see your dillema.
350$+ is kind of hefty for not having full capabilities, or glitchy playback.

whats your native resolution? if its XGA-WXGA you wouldnt be missing anything without 1080i
Just a thought.

Another option is the 'Miglia TVMini HD'
http://www.cwol.com/pc-tv/tvmini-hd-miglia-mac.htm

System Requirements:

Macintosh with USB 2.0 connectivity
PowerPC G4/500 and higher or Intel Dual Core
1080i broadcasts require Dual G4, Dual G5 or CoreDuo Processor
Mac OS X 10.4.x

It seems to have suprisingly good reviews. What are your thoughts on that one?
