I noticed Edmunds sells tech spec Light Pipes:

Part of the description says, "These glass rods can be used to mix and homogenize single or multiple point sources regardless of their individual spectral characteristics."
Maybe these would be useful for making a cleaner arch image (homogenized)? Many commercial projector light engines use these to homogenize their archs before expanding the beam to fill the panel. It seems they would help with even illumination and possibly sharper focus.
Any thoughts from the LL Guru's?
