Looking for a reflector - what would be suitable?

Depends on what lamp you're using, but check out the one from izzotek linked in this thread. Pretty sure they ship to the UK. (If it fits your lamp, it will be way better than any Ikea reflector).

I polished up a sugar bowl from a tchibo store for my first go,it worked great.

thanks guys - i've gone and bought the izzotek one - looks good, along with their focus mech and one of their lamp kits and a couple of other bits. Gonna get their 320mm triplet too when it comes back in stock - looks a pretty good website
