Would this electronic ballast kit work for a DIY projector?Electronic Ballast Kit

You'd want the 400w version, you linked to a 250w.

Would that type of reflector work for our application?

Two questions. Could the 250w version be used with a high quality relfector to to effective? Would this kit work for a projector 400w ballast? One observation, it says in the description that only a licensed electrician should install it. I guess that means everyone who builds thier own porjector has a license, right? smile.gif

That kit will work but you'd be paying twice as much as you should. The reflector is useless to us. You could use a 250w but you'd need a high quality reflector and a precondenser lens to get enough light.
