Full Version: Judging The Picture Quality Of Your Setup Before Buying

Hi all,

Raytracing programs such as POV-ray can reproduce the exact picture of a setup, so you can fiddle and tweak until you get the optimal setup before you even buy it; WYSIWYG style.

These programs might be a bit too much for the average DIYer and cost quite some time, so I'm looking for an interface where you can just set some variables for the default Lumenlab design + common alternatives, much like the tools already presented on this forum.

My question is: does anyone have something like that lying around or know about a website that offers such a thing? Or do I have to create EVERYTHING myself around here wink.gif

Ok it's not a strictly necessary tool but it would certainly be insightful for starters and useful for pros.

Because of the variations in design and tolerance we dont have much in the way of options like that. We DO have a focul length calulator and a a few other tools which make it easier to build. You can find them in the tools section. But like you said, they are already presented here.
I would be curious to see what you come up with. We are always looking for new tools.
