Full Version: Is My Lamp Not Strong Enugh?

First of all i have to say that my English i bad..but i hope u understand my question anyway.

I have built a Diy lumenlab projektor for a schoolprojekt. but when i startet it upp i was to dark(the picture) .The lamp that i was using was a philips Master colour cdm-t 70W/942 .and its 6600lumens.
and a use a ballast from philips that they rekomend to that lamp.So how strong lamp do i need ??.i want to get as great resultes(good strong picture) but not to strong so it hurt´s in the eyes when looking at the movies tongue.gif
Btw i use 15" and the standard lens kit.

Hmm theres just one problem i live in sweden and then i have to get that kit shipped. I can get lamps here in sweden from Philips or Osram. I only need de specifications blink.gif so a can tell them.
I have been search and reading on this forum many month now whithout any results...(on the lamp part of the projektor)

for a decent picture you need about 36000-40000 lumens witout a precondenser. usually around a 400 watt lamp with between 5000k and 6500k color temperature and as high of a cri as you can find.
