Hey,
Doing a basic 15" simple (standard lens and triplet, no condenser) setup with the fresnels seperated and was looking for the ideal distance between my fresnels and my lcd. I know that having them too close causes rings and too far limits my light, so what is a good safe distance?

I know the simple setup schematics are a little aged, didn't know if there was a more accurate and widely accepted distance. This will be one of the only things on my PJ that I will have little to no adjustability in.

Thanks,
Josh

go with the guide! http://www.lumenlab.com/protectedwiki/Simple_Projector_Plans

as far as adjustability, i'd make your front lens and triplet move at least 1/2" for focusing and keystoning
