well i hope no one will be bumping into your walls cuz without a stud ever 17" that drywall won't be very sturdy and the person on the other side might be in for a surprise

Looks like everybody else here is wondering the same thing that sure dont look like 16" on center, but i guess if you are doing it and you dont care whatever floats your boat. Just as long as when you butt the drywall together I hope you have something to nail to?? Oh well Looks like a great start.

load bearing walls require 16 oc but non load bearing walls like this can be 24 oc
as long as he makes sure to layout the walls correctly he will end in the center of a stud with the drywall.

Yeah just like nedflan said load bearing walls 16" OC but that still doesnt even look like 24" OC more like 48" OC but could just be an illusion. Oh well it doesnt matter just like belke said kids get a little ruff and might end up in the other room or in between rooms

SURPRISE

don't forget the fireblocking if you are drywalling both sides.

build a fake wall , put your pj behind it and just leave the lens sticking through it. Like in my plog.
It keeps all the heat out of your theater room and fan noise is hardly noticible. I have a very large fan and the noise is really quite loud but where it's in the adjacent room it's is barely audible.
Just be aware of your screen size to your lcd and lens to your wall distance for your proper wall measurements and actual projected wall image.
