In this case, I would put it vertically, in consequence, I'd need a mirror
But I came up with this idea. I've seen it a few times but not to use it as this. Anyways, this fact doesn't change anything haha

Instead of having the mirror first and then the lens, I'd put the lens facing the mirror. This way, it'd be reflecting the enlarged image.
So when the lid is closed, it doesn't look like a projector. Then, I open it and... well it won't look like a projector neither but it will be something strange with a mirror giving me a large movie and i like that
Is there any cons doing this? I suppose the mirror would have to be larger than putting into the case, as the projected image is larger. But this could be possitive if you think about minor scratches in the surface of the mirror, because you'll have less image over it
What do you think, experimented ones, about this?
