do the fresnels have to be perfectly aligned and what difference dows this make to the final image?
i have got a rig where they arent and i still get a fairly decent image, if not that bright cos it isnt cased yet...

They don't need to be perfectly aligned as long as you have a 10mm+ gap between them. Just get them as close as you can.
