Sorry for my possibly bad english. I'm spanish.

I'm looking for a TFT for my projector, and because I will not use never it with a PC, but with a DVD player, I'm looking for a TV with video HD Component input. Maybe a TV is not necessary and a TFT monitor with a VGABOX is an equal solution to my necessities? I don't know if a VGABOX results in the same quality of a HD Component input.

In the case the TV is a good solution, ¿what do you think about this model?

Is not very expensive. Do you think I will have problems with the NTSC USA format? My DVD can use PAL or NTSC output.

Thanks!

Yes, there are quite a few people here that have used this LCD TV with great results. The advantage to using a LCD TV over a regular monitor with a converter box is that everything works without issues.

Check out DarkMeat or Nedster's PLOGS to see results with this LCD TV. You could also use the search button and type in the model number of this TV to see many topics.

Just so you know, this is the wrong place to post this type of question. Please try the beginner forum. This forum is for people who want to build a screen to project an image onto.

Could an admin please move this post for Detractor to the appropriate area? Thanks.

Thank you, infinityPlusOne, your answer is useful. Before I asked, I searched for the model in the forum. I found the TV used in some models, and that decide me to ask about the model because is strippable. But I still don't know the possible problems of PAL and NTSC. Someone can tell me if that can be a problem more important that the issues of a regular monitor with a converter box? I'm a beginner...

If there are no problems, the truth is that this model of Magnavox is really that I'm searching for.
