Hows things everyone....i wasnt sure when to start a plog so i got a small bit of work done before i did! plus i waited for everything to arrive so i knew once i started the plog that it wouldnt be too long before im finished! now that im after saying that it'l prob be next year by the time im finished huh.gif lets hope not though laugh.gif !

i was trying to keep this on a budget so dont be calling me a cheap skate laugh.gif

so enough of all that waffle and lets get stuck in to some info:
monitor : ADVENT 15" monitor = €150
250W light kit : €120
Standard LL Lens Kit: €80
Fans : €24 for 2
3/4" ply Wood : Free from my brother
tv box : €56

a fully functional, well worth the build projector.........PRICELESS biggrin.gif

i was just wondering are the connections on the side of the monitor going to be a problem??

Just make sure that your LCD mount does not bend these unnecessarily. They are just as important and fragile as the FFC's on the bottom. If you use a wood frame, cut away sections of the wood where the side FFC's are.

i seen someone put silicone on FFC's for strength...good idea/bad idea?
