Hey Everyone, Im New To These Forums But Have Been A Lurker For Awhile. So Yesterday I Finally Decided To Get My Feet Wet. I Found A Proxima Ovation A822c Projection Panel Locally For $10, With No Power Supply, And Was As-Is. So I Went Back Home, Searched The Net For The Pin-Out, And Created A Mock-Up Power Source For Testing Purposes Only. Ill Let Some Pics Describe The Rest.

Mock Up Power Source, I Used A Power Supply From An Old Computer.

Turned It On, And It Worked! Here Shows *Old School* Movie.

Today, Bought A New Power Supply ($2.50) And Also Found An Old Keyboard End To Use To Create The Power Supply End.

New End.

Here's The Entire Thing, Stripped Naked, Awaiting A New Home.

Im Just Waiting On An Overhead Projector To Come My Way So I Can Strip It Of Its Optics.
Oh, A Question For You Pros, Would I Be Able To Utilize An Old CRT Projection Lens? Came Out Of An Old Sony CRT Projector.

Thanks, And Let Me Know What Any Of You Guys Think. I'll Keep Updating As Parts Come.

How big is that panel? You'll probably have focal length mismatches with your fresnals, and a crt lens is used with curved screens so focus may be a real problem.

Those singlets might make a good precondenser for the lamp.

Outstanding!

An old lcd panel for $10 and 9 overheads for $50......

I'll be watching this one...... keep up the good work!
