Just starting my projector build, I have been shopping all over place, and have ended up with various parts...

So far the parts list entails:

Samsung SyncMaster 712n 17 inch LCD (bit big, but should strip well)
400 watt grow light balast, with a mogul socket and a complemetary bulb (same bulb is not right).
MDF box, which I thrashed together after getting the local BnQ to cut it up for me (they cut it for free!)
70mm hole cutter (BnQ again)
10amp tripple light swtich
LumenLab standard 15 inch fresnels and triplet set

Looks like a good start. One thing I would go is ditch the grow light reflector and replace with a spherical reflector.. optimally, the LL pro reflector.

I agree, the grow light reflector its only in the photo because I have not got around to stripping it off the mogul base yet....

Still need to get a good reflector, but I might wait until I have found the right bulb, so I can match the bulb to the reflector...

Thinking about a 400watt OSRAM powerball, because of it's small ball shape (point light source!?!?!)

Got the Lighting and Cooling systems working...
Lola T70 MkIII
You're going to be finished in no time. I'd better get off my post-418-1138467226.gif (close as I could find to A$$) and get my crate painted up for installation.

You will find the Samsung strip sensationally easy.
