Full Version: Thread-pitch And Stepper Motor Config In Mach3

I was wondering about the relationship between the thread-pitch of the axis and the stepper motor rotation that will formulate the travel.

Concerning the Mach 3 Software in what config section do I make the offsetting or sync. This program is not exactly simple.

Any advice is appreciated.

Thanks

under motor tunning you set steps per inch, if you have a leadscrew 10 turns per inch and your motor is 200 deg steps, and running lets say 1/2 steps on driver board then:

10x200x2=4,000 steps per inch.
