i remember hearing that you might have to mount the lcd upside down and / or back to front?
I have been searching thru thr forums (its bound to be there) but i cant find it!!

I hope you guys can help, i have jus managed to sucesfully extract a 7 inch widescreen from a portable dvd, whcih is ace cos the fcc lead is really long due to the display being remote from the controlling hardware.

Hope you can help, and i will b posting up a plog soon.

Check my tweaks topic linked in my signature line. It all depends on if you're building a "straight-shooter" or are "folding". The wiki also has that info. The spot in the wiki with that info. (See bottom of that page.)

/!\ Because the optics invert the image on the LCD panel, the panel will be mounted upside down and flipped from left to right. Basically you want what used to be the front of the panel facing the light, and turned upside down.

in a VERTICAL single folded, you want to face the LCD away from the light, top of the LCD towards the back of the box.

now that i'm trying to think about it....what would it be like in a horizontal single fold....away from the light and top of lcd to top of box?
