Hi there,

I want a manual pulldown screen, ceiling mounted like the ones da-lite makes, but I don;t have the $400 tyo make it. Is there a way to make screen like that ? Whats the maximum gain you can get out of one like that ?

Thanks
C.

LL sells nice pulldown screens with 1.6 gain. You can purchase 1.0 through 2.8 gain da-lite screens for much less than $400.. $130-200.

I've seen it done not sure if it was at this forum though.

how about PVC + Blackout cloth + servo + creativity.

Seems like the type of thing that could be as simple or as complex as you want to make it.
