I found an interesting product at Earth LCD

the thing is it only has RCA input. I called them up and talked to them an the said that if you send it a 16:9 image it will display a 16:9 image. So i have computers with nvidia cards that have svideo and or rca output so I wonder if I set the resolution to something like 720x480 or some other 16:9 res will this properly display widescreen on this LCD?

I am thinking this might work since you can set whatever res you want and it comes out on the tv scalled.

Any thoughts?

I would love to use this cheap small LCD with a LED setup for the bedroom. The thing is I gotta have widescreen I only watch movies.

I did just test the tv out put with my GeForce card and I was able to get it to put out 720x480 to the tv which made the image not fit on the screen, but hopefully this widescreen would take it.

Edit:
I am also looking for a rectangular led array 5"x3" or so

I wouldn't project ANYTHING off an RCA signal. It would look like utter shit.

You might be disappointed with this panel, as it scales everything to the panel's native resolution of 400x234. If you only watch movies and don't project too large an image, it might be ok. It just depends upon your expectations.
