Hi all,

Sorry to ask such a fundamental question, but I haven't been able to find a complete answer after searching for awhile, so I must resort to starting a new thread.

So, what exactly are the differences of unsplit and split fresnels?

Thanks smile.gif

Um. . . you may want to work on your searching skills. try typing something like this into Google:
split versus unsplit site:lumenlab.com

I found this thread discussing the benefits of split or unsplit setup in about 15 seconds.

Basically Unsplit is supposed to be better for the ligth optics etc.
Split allows for keystone correction in a floor or ceiling mount setup.

My thread here has diagrams of split and unsplit fresnels as well as proper lamp-arch placement.
