I saw these Projection Screens at Monoprice.com. If you scroll down, the last two on that page, the "Tripod Projection Screens," claim to have a gain above 2.0. $50 for a 1.5m x 1.5m 2.0 gain roll-up screen seems like a sweet deal.
So has anyone ever seen one of these in person?
I did several searches and couldn't come up with any discussions of monoprice screens here on LL.
Maybe I'll try avsforum, wish me luck!

And they've got electric ones for very reasonable prices. 100 bucks for 100 inches? Not bad at all.

Well, these are now in stock, according to their web site. Anyone care to check one out for us?

I might buy one. It depends on how much I like my blackout cloth.
They are plenty cheap. The 135" 16:9 one is only $158.
