I've been going through all these posts, and I'm pretty excited about building firstly a cnc mill, which I'll use to cut the pieces for my PJ. I've already "built" (I use the term loosely) a OHP LCD Projector with very satisfying results.
I have a question to pose to all - I have salvaged the lamp and driver board from a dead fujitsu LPF4700.
Here 'tis:
It's so bright it's like looking at the sun. I can barely look at it's reflection off the roof - it hurts my eyes.
Anyway, I'd like to ask for suggestions on how to get best use of it, or if you think it should be binned. The lamp has only seen 200hours of use. If the lamp is of no use, is the ballast?
