hey guys, i built my projector, and now what i want to do is have 4 threaded rods from my ceiling into a piece of wood, and have my projector sit on that. along with that i want to be able to raise and lower it into and from the ceiling with a switch, so the logical thing would to put a motor on each threaded rod and spin it, but my projector weighs quite a bit, so im not sure what kind of motor i need. Does it need to be a certian torque?

thanks

I thought I remembered seeing someone else do this before. . . I did a quick google search and found another LL member that had done what you're currently trying to do.

Actually, I didn't take the time to read his plog, so I'm not sure if he's using a motor or not to achieve this, but I thought it might be a little helpful if you'd never seen it before.
