I was wondering if anyone had tried using a flourescent light diffuser to even out the lighting of the projection? It seems like it could work.

I think it would do more harm than good. It might even out the light distribution a little, but we need all the light we can get and a semi-transparent diffuser is going to block a lot

Funny you should mention this...the Brightness Enhancement Films by 3M and similar films used to enhance monitor screen brightness have micro prisms that are like the fluorescent diffusers have..except micro

It would be nice to think that sticking a piece of fluoro diffuser behind the LCD would make things better..but the truth is probably not...Id say the fluoro diffuser prisms are way too big to have a positive effect.
