Yes, and... yes.

As long as you only plan to use composite, or convert everything to composite, then I'm sure it will be fine. I see it listed as $194.98 shipped though so you can probably find something less expensive

I found it on ebay for $110 shipped. I think I'm going to get it.

Some guys are LCD experts but I'm not. I do think that it is not a true 800x600 rez but 340x250 or something like that. They list the spec as MAX not native.

You could use a shorter FL triplet for such a small LCD like this one.

You also should use a condenser lens with a short fl of 6" or less and a 220mm rear fresnel.

I am uncertain about this one it may not be the ***True*** native resoloution can anyone clarify this? As this could just be the maximum upscale good luck anyway. biggrin.gif

Could someone please explain the upscale concept to me? I'm not sure if I quite understand it.
If this monitor can upscale an image to a resolution of 800x600, how would that look as a projected image?

Also what is the difference between dots and pixels?

This monitor's resolution is listed as 800x600 pixels as I understand right?

Thanks to anyone who can help!

Here is the monitor's listing on the Pyramid (manufacturer) website:
