Hi guys with more caution
Never do your AG removal in a soft place(like bed, sofa) the lcd bends and cracks.
never push or pull hard.
Could some one tell me when i do the AG remove , do i do both side?or one side(front). i think i will go for the same monitor LG 1750sq. but if u know any that is very easy pls let us know.thanks, tanji

ouch severe lesson learned,,,
only do the side with a/g leave other side...
and do it on a single layer towel on a bench too,, and dont rush it...

just buy a monitor without an antiglare like I did, then you dont have to worry about it.

Conker and I had zero trouble with a 3 hour wet towel process on an Eizo 15" (plog for specifics). I agree, also, ... a light towel on a flat surface works well for the procedure ... not something squishy. Though the bed was a good choice I thought for doing the frame and plastic and fastener removal on the original strip.

Put several paper towels on it , let it soak really good and keep it wet. Make sue the entire lcd AG is covered with the towels. Put saran wrap over the paper towels to keep moisture in.
Once it comes up to pull , pull it in one pull (nonstop) that way you'll have no glue residue to contend with when you stop. It leaves a little whenever you start pulling again.
Like foamcows said, look for one without the AG on it.

Check this video for reference. This is how it's SUPPOSED to work.

I pretty sure the AG is only on the viewing side that you look at. The other may be a polarizer film and if that's what it is then you should leave it. I am not sure how to tell if it's a polarizer or not. Someone else may help in that department.

If they're already off, then you can tell by the color.
Polarizers will look tinted and AG will be clear but cloudy.

Yeah, my Hyundai L72s is dead. It was eaten alive by the stripper I used; the polarizer came up in a spot and the connector ribbon was eaten by solvent. Don't give up though.

I think nearly everyone on this site has had a close encounter.
