I have the Pro Lens kit, and a 17" LG L1732TX LCD 4ms, 1400:1 contrast (fengine), probably 700:1 true contrast.

I would prefer a lower wattage bulb as a large portion of the power is produced as heat and since I have a fireplace I dont need additional heating tongue.gif

I'm liking Elken's Phillips CDM 150/TD/942

However I still need to source the best ballast, preferebly an electronic one, but a magnetic will do in a pinch.
The cheapest electronic I can find is $129.99 and the magnetic was $62.99 (sourced by Tameone)

Anyone know of anything better, I would love to know!!

My main question is will the pro fresnels work with this light setup as I see alot of people goin to a longer condenser throw/precondenser and a shorter field fresnel setup or will the 220mm condenser and 650mm field work well ????

I am thinking on building a vertical setup to avoid the need for keystoning.

Thanks for any advice !!!

Cheers,
Paul
