Got a 15.4 monitor for $60. I read somewhere I could use the standard lens with diff fresnels? Or would i be better off trying to find a 18". Im tyring to keep this low budget. Also lighting question. 400 watt MH 4000k or 4200k color bulb work or will it be too yellowish? can I adjust with screen?

True. You can buy larger lenses from 3DLens.com that will match the standard triplet from LL.

That would depend on whom you ask. biggrin.gif Personally, I think 4200K is fine. But others would tell you anything below 6000K is pure garbage. It's a matter of personal taste. Try it and see, I guess.

You can use the standard triplet with a 15.4 monitor. Whether or not to go with an 18" lens really depends on your throw distance, desired screen size, and projector placement. Spend some time using the Focal Calculator to decide what will work best for you. I can tell you that if you're trying to keep this low budget, you will end up spending more money trying to go with a 18" lens, since these usually go for around $50-70 on ebay, but having the longer throw distance might be worth the extra cost to you.
