Just found this while doing a bit of casual surfing (as you do)



From the following URL and the distributor list (particularly the cool stuff on the Japanese site... check the LED integrated optical module!!!) it would seem that in the not too distant future this technology will be accessible. Maybe even now? Can't get any pricing directly from the links.

Perhaps a group buy on the Discovery Starterkit and an amount of Chipsets? biggrin.gif

Then we just need some programmer dudes and electronics techies to do some magic and hey presto, a projector the size of a commercial with the price of a DIY tongue.gif

Brain, perhaps your contact in China could redesign the LL commercial projectors around these?

Try $10,000 for the DMD Discovery 1100 starter kit. Prices are on the first distro's web site.
