hello, I just receieved my panel and when I went to test it, there's this green line of pixels near the middle of the display, when I tap the lcd frame near the top it goes away but I bump the desk it's on, it comes back, is this panel salvageable, or should I get another one?

could it be a loose connection?

Sounds like... but it might be the edge connectors not having happiness.

Anyone else?

check your connections. Sounds like a cracked FFC...If it is, It CAN be helped, but it needs to be done just so...you will need to investigate and find where the the problem is. Determine where the problem is and hot glue it so it doesnt move, or tape if it looks like its in the middle of an ffc...

just go very slow, use your head, and dont panic. Most of the time it will present as something that just came loose..

good luck

as was suggested in the other thread, since this is a brand new panel, just return it. Its not worth the risk of opening it up and voiding the warranty since you might not be able to fix it. If you're just starting your build, you probably won't need the LCD for awhile anyway.

Oh this hasnt been stripped? My apologies. I thought you had stripped it and were testing. My bad. Yes, Unless you really want to risk it, I would say return it. There might be other problems lurking...
