I just got the WinTV - PVR 150 MCE kit and I am having some problems with it.

1. The picture quality is terrible compared to traditional tv - very blurry. When projected to an 80" screen it is undesirable to watch.

2. The audio loses sync with the video. Sometimes it alternates between in sync and out of sync.

Does anyone know how to fix these problems? I tried using Dscaler but I really prefer using Media Center because of the PVR and other functions. (I don't think Dscaler helps with the loss of audio sync).

Any help is greatly appreciated.

I just remembered something when I saw this thread. There was a problem with audio sync
on my card and then I figured out that I had to mute either the line in playback and select it
in the windows recording settings or vice versa. Hope that helps.

Thanks I'll give it a try.

I noticed that the sound only loses sync when the audio and video kind of stall for a sec and then resume. I don't know what is causing the stalling however sad.gif. I'll be watching and all of a sudden it just freezes for 1 sec and then continues. - It happened twice last night in a 2hr time span.
