1. I have seen eballasts mounted inside and on the back of a PJ.
Would it be possible to have the eballast far outside the PJ ? (like on the floor below a ceiling mounted PJ)
Maybe PJ wiring won't allow for this? It would help keep the weight and size of the PJ box down.
2. The LL eballast is supposed to be silent correct? as in NO electrical buzzing/noise. are all eballasts like this?
3. How heavy are eballasts/the LL eballast?

they are pretty heavy.. don't have a scale but I'd say maybe 5 lbs. My LL eBallast is completely silent. You could easily have the ballast far from the bulb.. use some 12 or 14 awg copper wire and run it as far as you need

The LL eballast is 7lbs (according to the LL store). Guess I should have looked more closely.
