Hey Everyone! I have a Gateway FPD-1530 that is already installed in my PJ and i and everything else installed also. Tested with a bright halogen worklight and It works awesome. (ballast will be here friday) Before i put in the LCD in, i did the AG removal on the front side of the LCD. (The normal front side of the LCD if your viewing like a standard computer moniter). I had read that the FPD-1530 is stange in the fact that it has AG on both sides. i only removed the front side of the LCD (which is now the side facing the Bulb) and its all glossy and perfect. Now the other side seems to have a slightly diffusive surface. ANd i was wondering , is this probally AG like ive read, or does the glue layer for the polarizer also have a slighty diffused surface.
Mainly, i was wondering, since i already removed the main front AG, will it make a huge difference to remove the LCD's backlight side AG, or is everyone elses backlight side of the LCD also diffusive.
