I was wondering if I painted a screen onto my textured wall would the texturing make it look bad? Will it take away from the sharpness?

textured walls do not make good screens. A good amount of the light will not reflect back to your eye because it will hit a bump and scatter. the result will be a grainy screen. this pic illustrates the result
This thread is a plog of a textured wall painted with a high gain paint mix.
I ended up sanding the screen area down with regular sand paper, that HURT and it took FOREVER. Results are quite amazing though. I used the Evermoore Misty Evening paint.

Does anyone know where that pinned thread about how to take good pictures of your projected image is?
Thanks for the links guys, sorry I haven't taken any yet, been busy. Oh and just a little update, good GOD!! I moved the bulb about in inch closer to the LCD and holy CRAP!! The brightness and image quality is absolutely mind blowing!! I can now watch it with a 75 watt light on in the room that's on the ceiling and it's only about 3 feet from the screen.
