It's a viewsonic vg150b. it's the flat cable between the panel and the controller board. when i lifted the panel, apparently there was already a small rip or something in the cable and it just went thru all the way w/o any resistance.

anyone know where to get a replacement? it's a male plug on one end and female socket on the other. looks like it's 40 connector on one side of the connector and 40 on the other. it's not a FFC connector.......trying to find my camera so i can take a photo..

it's like the pins are on the side of the "plug" and the "socket"

anyone know what i'm talking about? hehe

I may have one of these you could have... for a million dollars... just kidding.. let me see if it is indeed the part you need and then we'll discuss shipping... that is if you want it ?

If you don't get it from GadgetSmith then I'd suggest a good magnifying glass, and some very skillful trace repairing...

If any of your friends are jewelers they could probably do it.
GadgetSmith
I do indeed have one. PM me and we'll work out the shipping.
