I currently have a BO Cloth setup in my living room. During the day my screen is unviewable. I am looking for a better setup and I think LF might do the trick.

I have read some of the posts here and there about LF, but the majority of them focus on the painting.

What is the general cost of one of these setups for a standard setup?
What is the general size of one of these setups?
Where do you get a mirror of this size?

Another setup that I have been toying with the idea of is a rear projection setup onto some sort of glass substrate. I think that that this would be a very attractive setup. Does anyone know of anything like this being done?

One more thing, if anyone knows a good source for a LF Tutorial or intro post explaining this setup, please post a link.

Thanks,
Zach

Don't waste your money and time with Light Fusion. The cost of the mirror does not outweigh the benefits if there are any. The LL PJ doesn't have enough lumens to take advantage of LF.

You can get a Dalite High Power 2.8 gain screen for around $250 or a Dalite Glass Beaded 2.5 gain screen for less than $200.

That would seriously help with ambient light viewing.

My Z1 has 700 ANSI lumens and I couldn't see any difference between my LF test panel and my white Parkland screen.

You might want to consider trying the Black Flame Mix, it has been used with commercial projectors with good results, and you won't need the mirror for application. This thread is from someone using the black flame with a commercial unit.
