well i have practically no money and can't realy afford the lens from here but is it possible to use a slide/lcd projector lense instead?

Anything is possible if you put enopugh time and thought into it. You might want to start looking at OHP conversions. Thats always a great place to start.

Hello!
Try a local yard or estate sale in your area.
I swear I've come across lots of OHP's that I could have purchased for under $5-10 US dollars each.
I didn't know of their potential of being used as a PJ. dry.gif

I did manage to find a mint condition Eiki 16mm sound projector for $50.00 though.
