Another non-painted DIY Screen Option

This ones aimed at the aussies maybe the pommes...
A little birdy told me to expect good results from using a signwriting product called LG Foamex..supposedly way better than Blackout Cloth...!

As I say this product is available in Australia possibly England at any signwriting shop outlet.

Cost approx $60 for a 2400 x 1200 or laser cut sizes as large as 3600mm x 1500mm
(Ask for the 3mm thick flat white)

Do the right thing.... as always get a sample and see if you are happy with it..before you spend big bucks.

As my proj is a work in progress I will have to let someone try it..if you do please post your results for all good or bad..comparisons to blackout cloth would be interesting to see.

Cheers

Hey croma,
Did a bit of a search but cant find "Lg Foamex" anywhere but AVS. Not at www.foamex.com.au either.
Where is it found down under?

You need to look at your local Yellow pages and look for signwriters/suppliers or plastics suppliers and ask about LG Foamex.

hehehe...yes that's a sample alright hehehehe...!

Ask your local supplier to lasercut a sample ...they do factor in though the cost of cutting from a sheet.
If you do try it please post some photos !

Hi, I'll be trying this option soon. Don't know if I'll be able to get 'Foamex' but I'll be getting something very similar if I don't. Has anyone else tried it yet? Impressions?
