looking for a 7.1 card to output audio optically to my onkyo 504 for when I watch movies on my PJ. After looking around briefly, I found the Bluegears b-Enspirer which looks quite impressive and has all the necessary features for watching movies and playing games in 5.1+ Is there anything better for around $100? This can be had from zipzoomfly for $110 shipped. thanks.

have a serious feeling the onboard audio on my DFI nf4 board just won't cut it smile.gif

Oh shucks! I actually have the Bluegears X-Mystique which does everything you can think of very well. I was going to get rid of it since I don't use it. I am actually using my on-board 5.1 sound right now. I would have let it go for like $70 shipped. smile.gif

well I wanted DDL so thats why I was looking smile.gif I'm sure my onboard 7.1 would have sounded fine but wouldn't be up to snuff for everything
