Does anyone know if there's a significant difference between DVi and VGA, as far as image quality goes? I don't have a video card with DVi, so I was curious as to whether it's worth it or not to upgrade.
Thanks!

I'm sure that you'll find people who will argue either way.
With an LCD monitor, either analogue (VGA) or digital (DVI) will hit the same resolution without problems. Therefore there will be zero difference in the resolution.
Digital will get a more guaranteed colour accuracy, but I seriously doubt that the increased accuracy is anything that the human eye is capable of discerning.
The exception case would be if there's a lot (and I mean a LOT) of interference, in which case there will be a visible degradation of the analogue signal.
Personally, I don't see a difference worth spending money on an upgrade. That's me, YMMV.

I personally prefer DVI. Think about the path that video is generated on:
In the graphics card frame buffer its digital.
Then run through a D-A to be turned into a VGA signal.
Then, because LCDs are digital devices, with fixed pixels, it gets run through a A-D.
It gets displayed on the screen.
(Overly simple explanation, I know)
DVI cuts out the analog conversion in the middle.
Like SupraGuy said though, you might or might not notice a difference. I do, but I am *very* picky, and even the slightest fuzziness bothers me.
Is it worth upgrading to? If you don't have a video card with a DVI connector, it must be stone age technology! Don't you play any games at all! ;P Realistically, when your computer use demands a new video card, I think it will be a little hard to find a card that doesn't have DVI. And if you have managed to survive this long without DVI, you will probably be just fine in the near future.
To each his or her own. (ie YMMV)

I have one computer with DVI and SVGA outputs and a monitor with both inputs as well. Me and two other guys got bored one day and decided to see if we could detect a difference. While there was a detectable difference based on everyone's opinions of the image during blind tests (we also showed the image to a number of other people at random in the building) none of us deemed it to be very appreciable. If it were me I'd upgrade only when necessary unless you have the dollars to spend and then I'd say sure - go for it.
