I noticed a good amount of designs (especially the small ones) using a hot mirror in between the bulb and the LCD. If you use a hot mirror in addition to the pro-reflector (a cold mirror), do you still need cooling on the LCD panel?
I was thinking of encasing the lamp in a metal "duct" and using forced air to cool the metal. The only light that should get out to the LCD would have to pass the hot mirror, and just wondered if that would help the lcd not need cooling.
Thanks
