Ok, So i thought I saw one the first day on the forum, but I cant seem to find it now. Has anyone done a projector that rises out of the top of a table all sneaky like? ph34r.gif I know I can figure it out, but would just like to see how origional I am. Probably not very would be my guess.

Here is a built in a coffee table unit - doesn't pop up though.

i havent posted the plans yet bu ti have drwn up an extensive coffe table popup projector i can post them next week if you like!

have to get the file off the computer at work! rolleyes.gif

Yes I would like to see what you have come up with. I was considering using something like ball bearing droor slides as a track and moving it with an old linear actuator. Just gotta figure how to get ti to fit together. I figure it would all fit in a table behind a couch. Press a button and it pops up behind you and the screen unrolls in front. you could hide the computer somewhere next to the couch in a coffee table or something similar.



And, yes I did see the built in coffee table unit, but my wife likes to redecorate alot so it would not stay put for long. laugh.gif

FOUND IT! Took me a long time... it pretty much became a nerdy machismo thing for me...
