I want the EASIEST to use 15" or 17" LCD monitor that I can get. I hopefully don't want any FCC issues and no having to remove any anti-glare, but I realize I might have to remove the anti-glare no matter what.

Also, I want it to be able to do up to 1080i.

What do you guys recommend?
SupraGuy
1080i really restricts the field.

At that point, your list becomes "What LCD monitors do 1080i."

Yeah..so I guess that brings me to my next question..how will 1080i QUALITy look when you bring it down to a 15 or 17" res?

Check out EastCoast's PLOG... he used a Magnavox 15MF605T for his PJ... didn't report any FFC issues, but he did extend the input lines... you could PM him for more info.

Ah, here is another discussion saying that this monitor is easily strippable with no FFC issues.

Can be had for ~$300 (or less on sale)...

good luck,

It will look excellent, sharper than any standard TV would... but... it could look better using a monitor that natively supports 720p or 1080p... but mostly everything will look better as you get higher resolution panels as there is less screendoor effect...
