I am having some difficulty finding some place that will make a piece of tempered glass for me.... my question is, until I find a piece of glass, can I juist add a couple more computer fans to blow across the lenses and stuff...? Im only using a 250w MH bulb so would that work? Or not?

You can try plate glass for now. I used plate glass for about a month before thermal stress cracked it down the middle.
