I am thinking about making a collapsible screen for the backyard
i got a hold of a very large sheet of off white cloth that could be used for a screen (not the best but not bad)
Im tossing around the idea about getting some PVC pipes and elbows, maybe some weights and some large clips to make a collapsible outdoor screen

has anyone done something like this
is there a 'how to' blog out there?

right now the projector is in my room but it gets very very hot very fast so taking it outside everynow and then would be nice

you will not regret anything you try for an outdoor screen. The fun factor alone will )almost) make you forget about PQ. I bought a DV10 mainly for this reason (waiting for the LL pj to use "everday" inside) I was originally just using a bed sheet - then when I received my Graywolf, dismantled screen from mount, attached grommets & using bunji cords as tensioners on a pvc frame - works better than I expected.....I imagine white would be better outdoors though...wish I wouldn't have taken Graywof apart - coulda sold it & built a "white" screen.....
