kind of expensive for Can shipping, but oh well... let me know what you think

Second, the image between the triplet and the screen cross each other right (not show in focal calc)?
Now what about between the fresnel and triplet? does the image flip itself again?

Lastly when lining up with the focal calc's LCD Distance, and Screen distance, are these distances measured from the edge of the triplet, or from its center like the image would suggest?

can't access ebay.

the triplet flips the image vertically and horizontally, hence the need to mount the LCD upside down and backwards for a straight shot. Using a folded design, this changes since the mirror will flip the image. The fresnels do not flip the image.

I believe the distance in focalcalc is from the center of the triplet.

The "flip" that the lens does is a function of focus.

The fresnel does not focus the LCD image, it focuses the lamp. As such the combination of fresnels does "flip" the image of the lamp, making it a reverse image of hte lamp that is focused at the triplet. We just don't have to worry about that, except as an excercise in optimising the secondary optics.

Oh, and the backwards thing is just a matter of where we're viewing from. The triplet does not reverse the image, it merely rotates it 180 degrees. If you think about it, we're viewing the projected image from the same angle as the lamp "views" the LCD.

I am new here too, but I have seen that converter on the boards here somewhere ... and some vague recollection is telling me something was wrong with it. I may try and see if I can find it again.

480P is alot better than having just a svideo input device the only thing is that there are vga boxes that accpet component inputs and also have a tv adapter as well for just a few dollars more. They will also allow you to project your image to a size larger than 640x480. 640X480 is great for progressive scan games so for the price it seems like a good deal.

The advanced Projector Builder does have alot of input from fellow members it's helped me alot checkin in there.
