Ok I have a Panasonic SA-XR50. It's actually a pretty cool little receiver and I like it a lot. All except the speaker terminals on the back, which they use those crappy little speaker clip terminals instead of the round screw in ones. Check the picture. Anyway, all the clips are loose and the speaker wire is always falling out. Do you guys think I could pull of the clips and replace them, or get a more secure connection underneath.

Thanks

If you have a receiver you like its always good to stick with it. If the clips are loose there is a chance that you aren't using large enough speaker wire. Standard Gage speaker wire is miles thicker than the red and black garbage that comes with basic wiring systems. If you are using standard wires then try this trick. Re-cut your wire ends and the expose about 3/4 of an inch. Twist it closed and then fold it over onto itself, like a closed hook. Stick that into your connector as far as it will go and clamp it down. The next time the wire tries to fall out the end will catch as it comes out then it will bunch up and stop.

Try posting a pic of your speaker wires.
