Mikey P. Alerted me that using a 220mm front fresnel won't work on a 19" monitor. Is this true and if so which fresnel should i get i place of it?
thanks

I'm pretty sure I read somewhere among all these posts that the angle of light from a 220mm fresnel and a 19 inch lcd wouldn't work. I can't seem to find it though.

well, I can't see any reason why a 220mm fresnel won't work as a rearfresnel in a 19" configuration (in your plog you said you were using the 220/650 fresnels and the pro triplet, the 650 for the front)..... so I'm not sure what you guys are referring to? the pro fresnels should cover the 19" widescreen, not a lot of room to spare though, but it will work just fine....

It will work it is just that the light dropoff to the corners will be even greater than on a 17in. If you used something like a 330mm fresnel and a precondenser you could get a more even light spread without sacrificing brightness.

good idea, what size precondenser should i get? 4.5" x 6.5"? I don't really know alot about precondensers, so any help would be greatly appreciated! Or will changing to a 330mm fresnel be good enough?
