OK I get it. I shouldn't want a premade projector. That violates the whole point of this website. But considering it is taking me 11 months to complete the basement home theater project having some expertise in this area, a DIY projector by the holidays is not likely.

I know I could buy brand name projector, but I know the following issues will arise:

1. I will be stressing the cost of the replacement bulb from the time I put it up.
2. My kids will not use it only for "Movie Night" It will be on a lot.
3. Therefore the bulb will burnout quicker than I want.
4. Using a $50 bulb with more life will keep a potential anuerism away.

So I am really jazzed about the LL premade. Anybody out there know how its coming along? I don't want to harass with emails so I thought a little forum would be helpful instead.
