I mounted my lcd exactly how everyone else did and when it is projected the text is backwards and when I move my mouse to the left it goes right and right it goes left.

What did I do wrong??

Thanks

If the image is reversed (mirror image) then your LCD needs to beflipped so that what is pointing towards the front goes to the abck.
If the image is reversed and upside down then the LCE also would need to be turned around and top would go to bottom.

Find a program that can flip your screen 180 degrees.

What videocard do you have?

The guts (circuit boards) of the LCD of my own and my friends projectors are towards the front of the projector. So this proves your LCD in backwards.

I have never seen a straight through setup with the LCd guts towards the rear smile.gif always towards the front. LCd must be upsidedown and backwards.

Not upside down if the boards are at the bottom in the rear. Just backwards. rolleyes.gif

Stupid stupid me. When I meant front I meant the lamp side. My lcd guts are towards the front of the projector, that's why I'm confused as to why the image is reversed left and right. It is the right way up and down, but not left to right . Here is an image to show how I have it mounted. It looks like everyone elses.

I'm pretty sure the FFCs holding the glass of the LCD to the circuit board will be flexable enough that you can have the circuit boards on either side of the LCD. If you remove the LCD, flip turn it around and bend the FFCs the other direction you'll be in business (actually, you'll also have to flip the controller and power supply boards as well).

Most of the time, on the control board, the component side is down in builds I've seen.

Here's a picture of my original 15" LCD guts, looks same as yours...

And here's in the projector...

As you can see the component side (Was outward while the LCD was in it's case) is now facing downwards.

This is for a straight shooter projector.

It IS possible to bend the edge connectors over to the other side of the LCD, which can be done for a folded path projector.

you sure you didn't bend the boards to the front of the LCD when you installed it?
